Weydemeyer GmbH is focused in
offering cables for specialized
applications. We provide hook up
wire (solid or stranded), multicore
cable made with different insulation
materials (also UL approved),
coaxial cable for low- or radio
frequency applications, bus- and
robotic cables as well as computer
cable for secure interconnections
within your networks. Weydemeyer
offers fiber optical cable in a
broad range of fiber counts, which
are suitable for many different
indoor or outdoor applications.
Identification, bunching or an
additional protection for your
interconnection can be provided by
heat shrinkable tube, which is
available in a wide variety of
materials, colours, diameters and
shrink ratios cut to customized
lengths according to your needs. We
also carry metal or corrugated
plastic conduits and protection
hoses set up as a complete system
including a range of glands,
connectors and couplers.
All of our products, like wire,
special-, computer- and fiber
optical cable, cable glands,
conduits and heat shrinkable tubes
are manufactured to the highest

profile Weydemeyer GmbH
Weydemeyer GmbH was founded in 1923
having their first offices and
warehouse in the
Richard-Wagner-Strasse 37 right in
the center of cologne. Offices and
warehouse took several levels of the
building at that time. Back then
already the company was known for
their speedy delivery of insulating
material, winding wire, dog bones,
frames and other electric machinery
related products. Due to storage
capacity issues Weydemeyer built a
new warehouse and distribution
centre in 1970 at
Theodor-Heuss-Strasse 51 - 53 in
Porz and moved there one year later.
Today
Weydemeyer GmbH is a highly
specialized supplier to the industry
regarding cables and cable related
products. The portfolio contains
(stranded) hook-up wire, planar
cable, fiber optical cable for
telecommunication, cable glands for
industrial applications as well as
heat shrinkable tubes and plastic
corrugated conduits. In addition to
that we manufacture cable assemblies
according to customer specifications
like copper or fiber optic based
harnesses for telecom and automotive
industries.
